Willy B released: read what really happened!

Until his arrest in May, Port Harcourt based musician Willy B was the manager of Jack's Bar(a PHC nightclub along Aba Rd).

Willy B,was finally released last week Thursday at about 6pm, after spending a month in incarceration, without trial or sentencing by the law court.

He told me his story yesterday evening in a chat I had with him.

He started working with Jack’s bar 16^th February and until his arrest on May 12,  he never knew if his managing director was affiliated with criminal operations.

This is what he told me:

In his quest to promote Peace and to celebrate the Memory of MKO, the UN Young Ambassador of Peace, Chaste Inegbedion is enjoining all youths in Nigeria and in Diaspora to get their ‘White –On’ and to simultaneously ‘Ring the Peace Bell’ on June 12th at exactly 12am and 12pm. Youths are expected to send in their photographs with a bell in their hands, dressed in white, ringing the peace bell.
The event is powered by BishopChestnut, Mr. Nigeria Universe, Bella Naija, Jide Odukoya and the Nigeria Media. The Theme is 12-12-12 June 12, 12am and 12pm.

Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola (August 24, 1937 – July 7, 1998), often referred to as M. K. O. Abiola, was a popular Nigerian Yoruba businessman, publisher, politician and aristocrat of the Egba clan. He ran for the presidency in 1993, and won, but remained President-Elect till his death, as he was denied his mandate when the election results were annulled by the preceding military president Ibrahim Babangida.
